It’s hard to argue that there’s nothing else out there that does the same thing, but there’s nothing else out there that does exactly the same set of things in the same way. PulseAudio is a sound server for POSIX and Win32 systems. It allows to have multiple programs playing sound at one machine, among even more advanced features. PulseAudio is a drop-in replacement for the enlightened sound daemon (ESD). This article focuses on the more basic PulseAudio features.
Please note, PulseAudio is not a drop-in replacement for aRts. If you use KDE 3, it is not currently possible to use PulseAudio.

@ Tango Studio Le Logiciel Libre utilisé dans la création sonore, vidéo et graphique . Le professionnalisme, même si, et justement parce que, la manière de travailler et le rendu sont différents . Des paquets debian pour UbuntuStudio 10.04 L.T.S. et ses dérivés sont proposés ici .

SeqCon est un Sequenceur Conditionnel. Il s’agit bien d’un séquenceur, mais contrairement à d’autres programmes (Cubase, Protools…), il n’est pas lié au temps. En effet, les pas de la séquence sont ici liés aux conditions définies par la conduite du spectacle. Comme un jeu d’orgues pour la lumière, c’est un Sequenceur de Conduite…
